GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE AND CONDITIONS OF INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

The subscriber reserving for other participants certifies that all participants, or legal guardians for minors, have read the following general conditions of sale of Verticaleo and that each accepts them individually.

 

 

CANCELLATION AND REFUND

1) For any partial or total cancellation by the client reported within 48 hours prior to the start time of the service, the total amount of the service will be due. No refund will be possible.

2) In the case of an online reservation, and if the number of participants or the choice of outing pose an organizational problem for Verticaleo, the company Verticaleo reserves the right to contact the customer to offer him an alternative. and if necessary to cancel the reservation and proceed with its reimbursement.

3) Any partial or total cancellation of a customer, due to a case of force majeure and on proof (illness, injury, bereavement, etc.) will give rise to the reimbursement of the person affected by the circumstance preventing the activity. For a minor, Verticaleo will reimburse the amount corresponding to the registration of the child and an adult. The customer must then provide Verticaleo with proof: medical certificate or official document.

4) Verticaleo reserves the right to cancel a service if the minimum number of 5 participants for the outing is not reached for the canyoning. A solution will be proposed to the customer to shift the output.

5) The decision to cancel a service due to a danger due to weather conditions or water levels belongs to the guide(s) or instructor(s) in charge of the supervision and safety of the group , and on its own. This decision cannot be contested.

6) In case of cancellation decided by Verticaleo, any amount previously paid will be fully refunded to the customer.

 

SCHEDULES AND DELAYS:

-Following the reservation, participants will receive precise information on the place and time of the meeting. For the comfort of the other participants, a delay of 20 minutes will be tolerated after which, the group will leave in activity and no refund will be possible.

 

 

DIPLOMAS AND LEGAL STATUS:

Verticaleo represents Jean-Christophe HAPPILLON as an independent instructor declared to URSSAF (sole proprietorship)

 

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY CONDITIONS

The subscriber reserving for other participants certifies that all participants, or legal guardians for minors, have read the following insurance and liability conditions and that each accepts them individually.

 

 

INSURANCE:

Verticaleo is covered by Professional Civil Liability insurance.

This insurance effectively covers all medical or hospital care and compensation for risks for which the professional is responsible.

However, individual civil liability insurance covering canyoning activities is compulsory for each participant.

In case of reservation with another partner instructor, it is the insurance of this one which will then be requested.

 

 

RISK MANAGEMENT :

- The activities offered by Verticaleo are outdoor sporting adventures. Each participant is aware of engaging on slippery and steep terrain and recognizes the random, changing and difficult to predict nature of the practice terrain and weather conditions.

- Participants have access on the website www.verticaleo.com to all the details of the activity in which they engage. They must inform themselves carefully and must not overestimate their physical or psychological abilities or those of their children.

- During the activity, during the safety briefing and each passage of instructions, participants must be very attentive and only commit if they have understood the instructions of their guide.

- Verticaleo declines all responsibility in the event of loss or damage to objects belonging to the customer during the activity: cameras, smartphones, video cameras, glasses, contact lenses, jewellery...(non-exhaustive list)

 

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

To carry out the sports activities offered by Verticaleo:

participants must not have any medical contraindication to the practice of these activities nor any health history or operation that could make it dangerous.

Pain that can prevent progression in the canyon and its ascent are considered medical contraindications.

A participant with a specific health condition, a physical or mental disability or medical treatment must inform Verticaleo when making a reservation so that the guide can organize his service and offer the best conditions of comfort and safety. Subject to the reservation being accepted by the instructor.

It is impossible to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Pregnant women are aware of the risk of serious or fatal fetal injury in the event of a fall or slip.

For the practice of canyoning, participants must:

for family outings, be comfortable in the water and let the guide know which children are the least comfortable.
